Maribyrnong Civic Centre

Comprehensive lighting package for the new Maribyrnong Civic Centre including council chambers, public library, community spaces, and external plaza areas. The project demanded high-quality lighting that met Green Star sustainability targets.

The Challenge

The project required 6 Star Green Star compliance with stringent energy budgets. External lighting needed to balance pedestrian safety with light spill minimisation to protect adjacent residential properties.

The Results

Achieved 6 Star Green Star lighting compliance with 35% better energy performance than the required baseline. The DALI-2 control system provides 14 independently controllable zones in the council chambers alone.
